Rising single-seater star Ferdinand Habsburg claimed his maiden FIA Formula 3 European Championship victory at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium this weekend. The young Austrian stormed through the field from eighth on the grid to take a spectacular win in front of tens of thousands of fans.

The Grand Prix of Pau, the third round of the 2017 FIA F3 European Championship, is considered the jewel-in-the-crown of F3 racing and, this weekend, Ferdinand Habsburg took valuable points in all three races finishing in sixth place in the event’s grand finale and climbing to fifth in the championship standings.

After round one of the FIA F3 European series, Ferdinand Habsburg set himself a challenge; improve in qualifying, be consistent and get on the podium. This weekend, in round two at Monza, he did exactly that.

There was plenty of over-taking for Ferdinand Habsburg this weekend, as the 19-year old carved his way through the tight-knit pack in each of the three FIA F3 European Championship races at Silverstone Circuit.

Ferdinand Habsburg completed his pre-season campaign in the Toyota Racing Series with a trio of solid top 10 finishes at the Manfeild Circuit Chris Amon, advancing a total of 13 positions from his grid slots during the three races.

Ferdinand Habsburg scored a podium finish for the second consecutive weekend in the Toyota Racing series at the Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park in Taupo.

Ferdinand Habsburg has finished in second place in round three of the 2017 Toyota Racing Series, after a heroic climb from sixth on the grid in a twenty lap race at Hampton Downs in North Waikato, New Zealand.
