2021 Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 Champion Ferdinand Habsburg returns to the series where he claimed his maiden endurance title, Joining Nielsen Racing.
The British outfit won the Asian Le Mans Series twice, and achieved numerous wins and podiums in their 10-year history, including a second-place finish in Le Mans.
The 26 year-old LMP2 World, Asian and European Champion and Le Mans winner from Austria will share the #24Nielsen Racing Oreca 07 LMP2 car with ALMS GT-AM, British GT GT3 and Blancpain Endurance GT3 champion Ian Loggie (61, SCT) and 2023 ELMS LMP3 Champion Alex García (20, MEX).
For the first time since the pandemic, Asian Le Mans Series returns to the Far East as the season kicks off in Sepang, Malaysia with a double-header on December 2-3. This will be Ferdinand’s first visit to the former F1 circuit, followed by the Middle Eastern leg of the season in February 2024.
