Ferdinand Habsburg will enter his second DTM season with new partner Fitbit, innovators and market-leaders in wireless-enabled wearable technologies, by his side.

The WRT Team Audi Sport driver announced the partnership hot off the back of the official DTM pre-season test, where he set the fastest lap of the three-day session, breaking the Nürburgring GP circuit DTM lap record along the way.

Ferdinand Habsburg is delighted to be working with Fitbit throughout the season ahead to help drive forward his performance both on and off the track.

“Everyone knows how intense the level of competition is within the DTM and it is no surprise that every driver is always looking for any extra edge that they can find. All those that know me, know that I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to my personal fitness and technology as well so my new partnership with Fitbit is one I am incredibly excited by.”

“Last year was a fantastic experience for me in the DTM. And I really feel that 2020 alongside my team at WRT Team Audi Sport is a great chance for me to really build on that and make a real impact. It has been a long wait for the season to come around and I can’t wait to get back out on track.”

The 2020 DTM season starts on 1-2 August at Spa-Francorchamps. It will be the DTM’s first visit to the famed Belgian track since 2005. Stay up to date by following Ferdinand Habsburg on social media @fhabsburg62.
